Daily Eats: An Early Morning

Daily Eats | Glitter & Grace Blog

After a relaxing weekend at home, I had to wake up early yesterday morning to catch the bus back to San Francisco. Luckily, I had a piece of delicious coffee cake to snack on during the ride. This buttermilk coffee cake is my grandma’s recipe, and my mom made it often throughout my childhood.

Daily Eats | Glitter & Grace BlogLunch was pretty simple: some barbecued chicken and a salad. Nothing fancy or exciting, but yummy and filling nonetheless.

I brought these Gravenstein apples with me from home, and enjoyed one as a mid-afternoon snack. It was sweet, a little tart, and super crunchy. I love snacks that keep me occupied for a little while.

I was right, since I’m in desperate need of some groceries. I paired the pasta with leftover green beans and some fresh berries. I was able to whip up a pot of oatmeal while cooking the pasta, so I’ve got breakfast covered for a few days too!
