Hey y’all! How was your weekend? I spent mine visiting my parents in the country. It was a perfectly relaxing few days. I read a couple of books, went on a nice run, spent plenty of time hanging with mom and dad, and enjoyed lots of yummy food – including a birthday dinner for my dad! I took the bus back to SF early yesterday morning, and enjoyed a piece of cornbread for breakfast on the ride down. I also ate a pear once I got to the office.
Lunch was a mix of lots of different yummy flavors. I filled up with a bunch of lettuce, then topped it with more veggies, chicken, and some pasta.
Dinner was thrown together at home with what I found in the fridge. I prepared a salad with the last of my greens, added some brown rice, and enjoyed a chicken lime burger from Trader Joe’s – I like to keep these in the freezer for some fast protein. The star of the meal was these sweet and juicy sungold tomatoes from my mom’s garden! They’re definitely one of my very favorite veggies. I finished off the night with a small bowl of cereal and some almond milk.
