Happy Thanksgiving! I have so much to be grateful for this year: my amazingly supportive and loving family, a great group of fun friends, a beautiful new home and job, and a vibrant city to explore. I’m also so thankful that you have taken the time to read and support this blog of mine. It’s such a fun creative outlet for me; I hope that you find some meaning in my words as well!
Thanksgiving is one of my very favorite holidays. Here are a few intentions I have for the day: to greet my incredible parents with a great, big hug. To nosh on plenty of mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and apple crisp. To fit in some outdoor exercise – a morning jog or flag football, anyone? To catch up with family members I haven’t seen in a while. To cuddle with my dear kitty, Juliet. To enjoy every bit of my dinner, and to save room for plenty of pie. And to end the night with a mug of tea in front of the fire. Will you join me in celebrating this day of relaxation, good food, and family to the fullest?!
