
How many of you have been feeling a little under the weather this month? I picked up a cold at the beginning of January and just can’t seem to shake it. Busy social events all weekend and long days at work probably aren’t helping. But one little thing we can all do, anytime of year, to help boost our immune systems, is to try to fit extra fruits and veggies into our meals. Smoothies are a great breakfast or snack option that are full of nutrient-rich produce. My go-to combination is frozen blueberries and banana, spinach, almond milk, and peanut butter, but I’m looking to mix things up a bit and get creative with my blender. These new recipes caught my eye – they all feature delicious flavor combinations that are full of cold-busting vitamins, too! So let’s get slurping!
