White and pastels are favorites of mine, so of course I love this outfit. I feel like it’s a quintessential summer combination: a patterned blouse in soft colors, a light pastel cardigan, and a great pair of cropped white jeans. I bought this sweater on the sale rack at Urban Outfitters a long time ago, and it sat in my closet without seeing much wear for years. Now that I’ve included it in this capsule, however, it’s actually become one of my favorite pieces. I love the soft, textured knit and slightly longer, asymmetrical cut. This is one of the greatest perks of experimenting with a capsule wardrobe: by limiting your options and clearing away some of the clutter, you allow space for unexpected favorites to emerge.
