In my mind, both these navy chino shorts and this white linen shirt are classic summer pieces. I love the top because it’s versatile enough to wear with shorts like these, dark jeans, or even nicer black pants. I haven’t been wearing these shorts as often as I’d like to this summer – mostly because of the poor Bay Area weather. However, this past weekend was unusually hot, so I’m hoping for a few more warm spells before fall hits. Also, I’m traveling to Washington, D.C. for Labor Day. I’m expecting heat, a parade or two, and outside barbecues – seems like the perfect occasion to wear these chinos!
